The Owner

My name is Chelle Barnett, owner of St Louis Virtual Admin.

I am located in the outskirts of St Louis, MO, where I live with my husband and four children. I have been working from home for several years and I enjoy the flexibility my schedule gives me to home school my children, while watching them grow. I also own and operate another small business manufacturing and marketing a handmade line of mineral makeup, spa quality soaps, lotions and scrubs, along with hand poured candles and tarts. Through this online business, I have learned first hand the obstacles that small business owners face in day to day operations. This allows me a unique perspective when working with a client to help grow their business.

My Experience & Strengths

I have over 12 years of experience in and out of the traditional office environment. I am highly organized, detail oriented and able to multi task without losing any quality of work. I work well within the constraints of a deadline and love a challenge. In every organization that I have been a part of, I have become a very valued member of the team through my ability to follow through on schedule and ability to adapt and learn new software or tasks. Writing, editing and proofreading are just a few of the areas that I am very strong in, however I offer a full line of services to meet your needs and am proficient in each one.

My Office

I have a complete home office setup, which includes two top of the line computers with firewall and virus protection, high speed internet service, printer, scanner, copier, fax and separate business line with toll free number. I am well versed in many computer software programs including the MS Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access), Paint Shop Pro, Print Shop, Dreamweaver plus many more.
